이런 것처럼 우리 사람들도 등급을 매길 수 있는 것일까.
대부분의 사람들은 사람들의 등급을 책정할 때 '학벌'을 참고한다.
사실 대부분의 좋은 학교 출신들은 똑똑한 점이 많다.
위기 관리 능력도 뛰어나고, 이해력도 좋으며 자기만의 색깔을 찾기 위해 부단히 애쓴 결과로 각자의 전문 취미분야들도 하나씩 가지고 있다.(물론 다 그렇다는 것은 아니다)
반면 그렇지 않은 학교 출신들은 책임감도 적고 집중력도 떨어지며 준비능력과 위기관리도 놓치는 부분이 많다. (물론 다 그렇다는 것은 아니다)
하지만
단지 이런것들로 그들을 평가 할 수 있는 걸까?
오히려 행복을 느끼는 정도는 평범한 서민들이 더 느낄 수도 있으며, 사회적 위치는 높은 곳에 있지만 더 많은 스트레스를 받는 사람들도 있을 것이다.

단, 남에게 피해를 주지 않아야 한다는 조건이 있긴하다.
객관적인 지표로는 좋은대학 출신 판사와 학벌없는 청소부의 차이는 클 것이지만
그들의 삶을 남의 잣대로 평가 할 수 없을 것이다.
여기서 사람과 사람을 평가 할 수 있는 유일한 것이 있다.
그것은 바로 나만이 아닌 주위를 돌아볼 수 있느냐 없느냐 이다.
단지 내가 잘나서 나만 잘살면 됐지란 생각을 하면 안된다는 것이다.
내가 지금 처한 상황이 좋거나 좋지 않거나 주위를 돌아보는 용기와 마음이 있는 사람이라면 그런 사람만이 남과 다른 평가를 받을 수 있는 존경받아 마땅한 사람인 것이다.
이런 사람이야 말로 남과 비교했을 때 보다 높은 점수를 얻을 수 있는 사람이다.
내가 지금 처한 처지가 남과 비교했을 때 초라하다고 느낄 필요 없다.
위로 올라 가려고 온갖 스트레스 받을 필요 없다.
내가 지금 처한 상황이 남과 비교했을 때 좀 낫다고 교만할 것도 없다.
내가 모은 재산이 남보다 많다고 내가 남보다 낫다고 느끼지 마라.
